Tell us your story… a bit about your background and development as an artist/ designer /craftsperson: I grew up in the tropical North of England and soon got bored of that. At the age of 20 I left for New York for a couple of weeks and returned to England four years later, having worked and wandered around the globe, doing everything from carpet cleaning to tuna fishing along the way. I met Charlotte and we wandered the globe a bit more and finally came to rest in Australia about eight years ago.

Who is your favourite musician/entertainer at Eumundi Markets? Juzzy / Paul the Neem Man
Where is your favourite place on the Coast – other than Eumundi Markets? My local beach. I didn’t grow up on near the sea but now I can’t imagine living away from it. When the weather is good I love to go down there with my daughter Harriet and mess about on the sand and in the waves. Even when its wet and wild I love to go and walk for miles with my dog Herb,(he thinks I’m nuts). I am also the Sunshine Coast’s worst surfer and occasionally I like to go down and prove it.
Tell us something that your fellow stallholders and customers/clients might not know about you… I have sung live on stage with Boney M
What is the best thing that’s ever happened to you? I was in the stadium when Sir Jonny Wilkinson kicked the field goal to crush the Australians’ hopes and dreams and clinch the Rugby World Cup for the Poms in 2003. What a night! .... oh,um, and getting married and becoming a dad of course.
Where can people find you at Eumundi Markets? On Wednesdays we are on the terrace behind the main office.On Saturdays we are at the southern end of the market in the food and fun area by the amphitheatre.
Is your product available elsewhere? Yes, we do local festivals, events and the occasional private function.
