Big, bold colourful canvases best describes established Artist David D’Aguiar’s work.
Not a formally trained Artist, he’s created a style that is uniquely his. Vibrant colour is achieved by layering paint, in most cases, just using primary colour with a little mixing to add tones - layer on layer.
The result is strong, warm colours that we all love. Beautiful, warm, peaceful places where the viewer can put themselves in the painting is what David hopes to achieve.
It could be a hammock on a foreshore between two palm trees, or a beachside verandah or a lounge chair under a shady pandanus – it’s about taking people to a place that makes them happy.
David has a collection of art for sale each Wednesday and Saturday at Eumundi Markets, or you can commission him to do one just for you.
